THE VERDICT - an honest review from a germaphobe mum

noun: germaphobe
  1. a person with an extreme fear of germs and an obsession with cleanliness.
"I'm not a germophobe, but everyone knows that hotel remote controls are never cleaned and are probably filthy"

Youa re possibly wondering if I have I always been a germaphobe? To a degree yes, but even more so since having kids. Perhaps spending 3 months in hospital with one my twins may have tipped me over the edge into full blown OCD. I guess having to scrub in before touching your own child will do that to you...

Do you dread toilet trips whilst out and about with your little babes? Do you frantically try and grab the toilet paper and place on the toilet while they are busting?  You try and get the toilet paper and it keeps ripping and then you pop some on the seat and then it all falls in? So you opt to hold them above as they really cant wait and they wee all over you and your shoes? Well if you have been in this situation and feel me here... read on...

When the opportunity came up to review this TUSHON product, I was intrigued with the whole concept and I was on a search already to something to help me with toilet trips. It was really putting me in panic mode thinking I needed to leave the house. I am not even to get into the amount of germs that would be on a public toilet. It is easier to not think about it. I didn't fear the kids misbehaving or running off, but the dreaded multiple toilet trips...  As a twin mum of 3 year old girls, one only recently toilet trained, made going out quite a choir, and always filled with anxiety, considering I had to get two little bums on a toilet quickly with a baby also in tow.. I was also carrying around a foldable toilet seat. This on all levels of yuck, yuck and a little more yuck! As then I would have to drag this seat into the house to also clean. Can you see my anxiety levels rising?

So now I handle those constant toilet trips like a ninja and just whip that little TUSHON out of my pocket!

So how do they work? What do I think of them?

The TUSHON toilet covers come in a pack of 21. The individual packs are about the size of a sanitary liner, and they easily fit in my pocket. Big Tick here! The individual pack tears easily making it super quick to get out of the packet. Easily fold open and they fit on either a children's toilet or adults toilet seat. I can use the one cover for two little bums if I hold it down when they hop off a children's toilet. If I am using an adult toilet for the twins, I do need to however place them directly on top as the cover does slightly slide around with how little there bums are. But once you work it out, it is as easy as! Then all you do is push it in the toilet and they are flushable! Done and dusted within 5 min in and out of the toilet with twins!

So to sum it up:

- Individually packaged and fit in your pocket or purse

- Flushable

- Wings so little ones can also pop there hand down without touching the toilet

- Flushable

We have used these whilst camping and at various public toilets, for both the twins and ourselves and I am a complete TUSHON advocate.

I am only going to review things honestly and I am glad and excited to say I will continually purchase this product and

So go get your TUSH-ON a TUSH-ON! I highly recommend it! They are available from TUSHON and if you sign up their newsletter you can grab yourself 10% off!

* The Tushon product was gifted to me and I am not getting paid for this post, but to provide an honest review for the trial and photography of the product.
